MIMS Trust

As an institution actively involved in health care activities, MIMS is conscious of the fact that health services are becoming increasingly inaccessible to the poor and downtrodden. This is more so in the case of major diseases. Ordinary people of India, who can barely make a living, find it nearly impossible to get timely treatment because of the cost involved. It is unfortunate fact that a great many people have to suffer not because of lack of facilities, or expertise but money. When such a lot of people are in dire distress just because they cannot find the money, it becomes a charge against the society. We should see that men, women and children are not in endless pain in a country that has facilities for treatment.

We feel that it is imperative on our part to join hands to mitigate the sufferings of poor and sick. The MIMS CHARITABLE TRUST has been instituted in order to mobilize resources and coordinate activities to this end.
